"Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these." ~ Matthew 19:14
I was ministering to a group of adults when a number of children were brought to Me. My disciples scolded those who brought them, thinking the children were too young and unimportant to deserve My attention. They had no ideas how seriously My Father cares about children. Keeping them away from Me was offensive to the Father and Me. Dear one, do not view children as less important than adults. They are worthy of your time. They need to hear about Me, My life and My words. They are able to receive the Gospel in its purest form, in innocent wonder and faith. Teach them about My love. Show them that they need to turn from selfishness and become My followers. Let them see My love for them expressed on Calvary. Let them know they are just as important to Me as you are. Do not hinder them in any way from coming to Me. Let them see your love for Me by the way you live. Love them in the same ways that I love you.
"And whoever receives one such child in My name receives Me; but whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to stumble, it would be better for him to have a heavy millstone hung around his neck, and to be drowned in the depth of the sea." ~ Matthew 18:5-6, NASB
